The Montana Department of Transportation has announced that starting on Monday, April 27th crews will be working on the East of Norris Corridor Study on Highway 84. Drivers commuting will experience single-lane closures about five miles east of Norris, from Warm Springs Boat Launch to Red Mountain Campground, along the Madison River.

Crews will be working 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on drilling a series of narrow holes to collect samples. They will fill holes once drilling is finished and study the samples to determine how future construction should best be approached.

Work is expected to last until May 15th and delay commuters about five minutes. Flaggers will be in place and no work will be conducted on the weekends.
