Starting January 1st, 2022 Marijuana will be legal for recreational use here in Bozeman and in the state of Montana. According to the new law, Montana residents 21 and older will be able to possess, grow, and use up to one ounce of Marijuana for recreational purposes.
The Bobcat's 2021 season kicks off on the road against Wyoming, September 4th, and returning to Bozeman to take on Drake, Saturday September 11th in the Home Opener. Other Home games this year include San Diego, Northern Colorado, Cal Poly, Idaho State, and Idaho.

The state does have a presence at this years Summer Games, with 3 Montanans making their way to Tokyo. Ali Weisz (Belgrade), Nicole Heavirland (Whitefish), and Nick Mowrer (Butte) are representing the Treasure State, with Mowrer returning after participating in the 2012 games.
A perfect example of this is the new Whole Foods store which is scheduled to go into the old Fuddruckers location at the Gallatin Valley Mall complex. The City of Bozeman approved the planning of the retailer, however a group known as "Bozeman Matters" has filed an appeal.
