Snow Predicted for Some SW Montana Mountains

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Gallatin County, south of Bozeman.  This advisory is for elevations above 5,000 feet from noon Thursday to noon on Friday.  The Winter Weather Advisory predicts:

• Snow above 5,000 feet
• 2 to 6 inches of snow through the passes along US-191 from Bozeman to West Yellowstone
• 6 to 12 inches of snow for the mountains
• Slushy road conditions
• Stress to newborn stock
• Difficult travel conditions
