Every August, it's tradition for folks to get together and head over to Lindley Park for the Sweet Pea Festival.

Folks come from all over Montana and the region to check out the art work, the live music, the dancing, and the food. Of course, there is something on the menu that is so delicious and so rare, that folks line up to buy them.

Of course, we're talking about the Tater Pig.

For those who don't know, the Tater Pig is one of the most delicious things you're ever going to eat. It's a baked potato, stuffed with a sausage, and covered in butter, sour cream and other fixings. I have no idea who invented it, but they should be rewarded, because it's culinary genius.

While many attend Sweet Pea for the music and the art, there are certain folks and I might be one of them, that attend for the Tater Pig which is made by The 406 A Capella Project.

This year the Sweet Pea Festival runs from August 7th, through the 9th and wristbands are available right now for all three days. Think about that, three days of music, three days of art, three days of Tater Pigs. It's like Christmas come early.

Looking at the Sweet Pea website, right now an adult 3 day weekend wristband will cost you 40 dollars, and that's good for all 3 days. They are also having a special where if you volunteer for 3 hours, you get a 3 day wristband for free.
