I grew up in a blue collar family, so I've spent my fair share of time in places that one might consider a "hole-in-the-wall".  Growing up, we used to go to this place called John's Cafe and I'm not even sure how it passed code, but the food was amazing.

Here in Montana, we have several restaurants that could fit that bill and I would dare say that if you were to step in and have a meal, it might be some of the best food you've had.

There is some misconception that in order for a restaurant to be up to par, it has to have this or that, it needs to be reviewed by these folks, and talked about those folks, etc. Don't get me wrong, I have no issue sitting down to a wonderful meal and a great atmosphere. I'm not opposed to matching China and real silverware. However, I'm also not opposed to picking up my food by hand and chowing down.

One of the most popular places in the entire state of Montana just made the "best hole-in-the-wall" list according to the folks over at Family Destination Guide.

Which Bozeman "Hole-In-The-Wall" is one of the best in Montana?

However, I don't think the honor will distract from the folks lining up out the door to grab one of these delicious sandwiches. If you've ever been to the Bozeman Pickle Barrel, you know it's not much to look at. However, that hasn't stopped hundreds of thousands of folks from ordering up whatever their favorite sandwich is.
