Open Letter To Bozeman From MSU President Waded Cruzado
Dear Friends of MSU,
As Montana State University prepares to graduate the Class of 2013, I want to thank you for the wonderful support you have given MSU during this academic year. The warm hospitality you have shown our students and their families, many of whom will be in Bozeman for MSU commencement exercises on Saturday, May 4, is so greatly appreciated.
As we do each summer and fall, MSU will play host to incoming freshman and their families with programs to acquaint them with MSU, its facilities and services. It is also a time for our new students and families to experience Bozeman, many for the first time.
This year's Freshmen Orientation Programs are scheduled for:
June 10-12, 2013
June 24-26, 2013
July 15-17, 2013
August 21-23, 2013 (Catapalooza)
Thank you, in advance, for making our newest community members feel welcome!
In July we will once again be offering "Welcome Back Bobcats!" kits to businesses in Bozeman. Kits will include GO CATS signs, window decals, athletic schedules and much more. Kits will be delivered the week of Aug. 12, just in time for you to decorate your business in blue and gold for the start of a new school year. For more information, visit http://www.montana.edu/bobcatspirit/kits/.
Again, I appreciate all you do for our students, their families and our beautiful city. Your warmth and hospitality make Bozeman a wonderful destination for visitors and a truly remarkable place to live.
President, Waded Cruzado
