Is It Time To Expand Bobcat Stadium In Bozeman?

Now that the World Cup has wrapped up, we can actually focus on Football. No, I'm not talking about soccer, I'm talking about football, more importantly, Bobcat Football.

While much of Bobcat Nation is still celebrating the National Championship of last year, before you know it, it will be a new season, and the Bobcats will be facing some familiar faces, along with a couple of new ones.

Oh, in case you didn't know, Brawl of the Wild is here this year.

So, what happens when an already extremely popular football team wins a National Championship, well, it means that tickets become even harder to come by. For those who aren't season ticket holders, it seems that your chances of getting single game tickets is going to be slim.

On the Montana State Bobcats Facebook page, the following statement was released:

Reserved single-game tickets for the 2026 Bobcat Football Season are officially sold out, but you still have a chance to be part of the action. A limited number of standing-room-only tickets remain

That, my friends is what winning does. You take the hottest ticket in town, throw on a bunch of accolades, and boom, you've got yourself a situation where there are more people wanting in the game than tickets available.

Should Bobcat Stadium add additional seats?

Is it time to expand Bobcat Stadium? I don't know if you've driven around campus lately, but there is a whole lot of construction going on. Is it time to add more seats? My answer, yes. I realize that these things take time, but the Bobcats have been clicking on all cylinders for the last few years now, might as well strike while the iron is hot, right?
