Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Coming to Bozeman

They've been touring for more than 50 years, and on Sunday, June 17th, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band will come to Bozeman for a show at the Emerson Cultural Center.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 11, at 10 a.m. Tickets are $40 - $60.

Known for their top ten hits "Fishin' in the Dark" and "Mr. Bojangles," the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band has won multiple Grammy and CMA Awards. Today's band consists of  longtime members Jeff Hanna, Jimmie Fadden, and Bob Carpenter.

Here's something I just learned about the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. They've been in two movies: For Singles Only, and Paint Your Wagon with Clint Eastwood.
