MSU Head Coach Choate Undergoes Emergency Appendectomy

406mtsports.com is reporting that MSU Bobcat head football coach Jeff Choate underwent an emergency appendectomy Sunday morning following the Bobcats 45-14 loss at South Dakota State.

All reports are indicating that the appendectomy went well. The coach's weekly Monday morning news conference was postponed. Something seemed amiss during his halftime interview on Saturday, and he did not seem like he was feeling well. He went to the hospital hours later.

No information has been given on whether Choate will be on the sidelines for this Saturday's Bobcat home game against Wagner College.
