You want to live somewhere that provides beautiful scenery and outdoor activities for the whole family. You're thinking maybe someplace that is rugged, yet has all the "comforts of home". You remember that one time you visited Yellowstone National Park as a kid, plus have spent hours on the internet doing your research and decide that Montana is the place for you.
First off, you should know that you're not alone. There have been thousands of people right where you are right now. Folks have watched a show or two and are at the point in life that they're ready for the next big adventure. Listen, I get it. I'm a transplant myself. I first moved to Montana back in 2006. It was a different place back then. While folks were moving here from other places, it was nothing like it has been the last 5 years or so. Back then, rent was reasonable, and you could afford to buy a house.

You'll hear many Montanans talk about what generation they are, with several being 4th or 5th generation Montanans.
