In a country of conflict, where people continue to argue with each other of this and that, it seems that the one thing we can all agree on here in America, is that we like food.

While we might not agree on which dish is our favorite, we all have a favorite dish. Here in Montana, that could be anything from bison, elk, beef, or something with flathead cherries.

I bring this up because a local guy is getting ready to compete on a show on Food Network. The show is called 100 Cooks and it features, you guessed it, 100 cooks. Oh, and it just so happens that one of those cooks happens to be Bryce Stubbs.

For those who are unaware of his story, he grew up in Churchill and attended and graduated from Montana State University (Go Cats!)

According to Stubbs, he started cooking when he was a teenager and that is were the passion began. Like many of us, he would fire up his trusty Traeger and smoke some meat, over the years, he expanded his arsenal. He started making videos of his cooking and after a while, he was in demand.

Currently, Stubbs is in France where he is attending Pastry School

So, how did Bryce Stubbs get on 100 Cooks?

It seems that the producers from Food Network discovered him on social media, reached out, and it went from there. The show has already started to air and we can tell you that Stubbs makes the first cut, however, if you want to see how far the guy from Montana goes, you'll have to tune in.
