Over the last few years, chicken sandwiches have become a big deal.

Don't get me wrong, I like chicken, and I like sandwiches, so it makes sense that I would like chicken sandwiches, but when it comes to the best, that's were it gets interesting. There are plenty of different chains that people get excited about such as Chick-fil-A, but let's forget the chains for a minute.

If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind chicken sandwich that will blow the roof off of the joint, where would you go? LA? New York? Some place down south? While I'm sure you can find a quality chicken sandwich in any of those places, it seems that one of the best is right here in Montana.

According to the folks over at Cheapism they created a list of the 16 Best Fried Chicken Sandwiches in America and Montana made the list.

Before we reveal the spot, let me just say that I grew up in the south and fried chicken was part of our lives. I know good fried chicken, and let me tell you that the Montana spot that made the list is the real deal.

Located in Bozeman is a little restaurant called Roost and if you've never been, you are missing out. Not only do they have delicious food, they also make a fried chicken sandwich that Cheapism has called one of the best in America.

Well, Guy Fieri featured the restaurant on Dinner's, Drive-In's, and Dives so you know it's rock-solid. They have multiple items on the menu, and the sides are great. If someone is craving "comfort food" that can't do better than Roost.

There is something special about the small town cafe. From homemade pies to the waitress knowing your name and the way you like your eggs. These are the places that are the soul of a community, and even though many small towns in Montana have a cafe, it doesn't mean that there aren't small-town cafes in some of the bigger towns in the state.
