Montana’s Missoula and Billings recognized As Top Foodie Cities

Here's some exciting news! If you consider yourself a "foodie", Montana just landed 2 spots on the Top 100.

The folks over at Wallethub took a look at the best cities to grab a bite to eat, and then ranked them and it just so happens that Big Sky Country shows up on the list not once, but twice.

The Growing Food Scene in Montana

While that might surprise some Montanans, many know that The Treasure State is filled with fantastic places to dine, grab a bite, or try something new. While it may be true that we don't get the spotlight, we still have plenty of choices when it come to good grub.

In fact, I was a bit surprised that only 2 Montana locations made the list.

For those who are curious, the following towns made the list:

• Missoula ranked 98th
• Billings ranked 100th

I've dined in both, and I'm not going to disagree with either being on the list, but I am a little surprised to see that Bozeman didn't make it. I mean, we have a pretty impressive culinary scene with a fantastic mixture of old school meets new school.

I mean, the biggest foodie in the world Guy Fieri came to Bozeman, that should be good enough for a spot on the list, right?

Local Favorites Highlighted

I will tell you that while both Missoula and Billings have lots of options, my favorite Missoula spot is #1 Gyro and in Billings, it's The Burger Dive.
