Construction Planned For Popular Road In Downtown Bozeman
You've gotta love summer time. Sunshine, outdoor fun, and road construction. Unfortunately for states like Montana, we have such a short window, weather wise, to complete construction projects, it often seems like everywhere you turn, there is some sort of sign stating work is to be done.
This week, there will be construction happening in/near downtown Bozeman. Crews will be working as quickly as they can to get the job started and done without being too much of an inconvenience.
The Montana Department of Transportation keeps all of us up to date with current and upcoming projects that will be or are happening.
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) will be closing Rouse Avenue between the intersections with East Oak Street and East Griffin Drive to facilitate BNSF operations. BNSF crews are closing the railroad crossing for necessary railroad track repairs.
The closure will take place during daytime hours on Wednesday, June 12th, and Thursday, June 13th. Through traffic must use an alternate route during this time. Travelers should plan to use an alternate route and expect delays to their regular commute.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns you can always reach out to the Montana Department of Transportation at 406-556-4700. Or you can go to the official MDT website below.
