MDT Wants Your Input On Road Project
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) would like to notify the public and seek comments on a proposal to mill/fill and seal and cover approximately 7.0 miles of Primary 86 between Bozeman and Wilsall, Montana, Gallatin County.
The project will begin at reference marker 23.9 and extend north to reference marker 30.9.
Proposed work includes cold milling, a seal and cover treatment and new pavement markings. The purpose of the project is to extend the service life of the highway and take a cost-effective action to preserve and maintain the existing highway.
Construction is tentatively planned for 2015, depending on completion of design and availability of funds. No New right-of way or relocation of utilities will be required.
People may submit written comments to the Montana Department of Transportation Butte office at PO Box 3068, Butte, MT 59702-3068, or online by clicking here.
