TSA Warns Montanans to Avoid Using USB Plug-Ins at Airports
You can fly direct to popular destinations across the country from airports in Montana. Nashville and Las Vegas are among the top destinations for Montanans looking to get away. If you want to make sure your phone is fully charged before you board your plane, the TSA is advising that you do it at home before you get to the airport.

According to a warning shared on the TSA Facebook page, cyber security has never been more important. Hackers can install malware at USB ports in airports. It is reportedly known as "juice/port jacking."
What Can You Do to Protect Yourself?
- Don't plug your phone direct into a USB port at the airport
- Use a TSA-compliant power brick or battery pack instead
- Don't use free public Wifi
If you're unfamiliar with "juice jacking", cyber security experts from the FCC explain the hackers can gain access to your phone, and even lock you out of it.
