Gallatin Speedway Suspends Start to 2020 Race Season
The Gallatin Speedway announced they have suspended the 2020 racing season until further notice. The small family-owned business made the announcement after working with the Gallatin County Health Department.
The speedway falls into Phase 3 of the governor's directive. At this time, Montana is still in Phase 1 and there is not a specific timeline for the reopening phases. They do hope to be able to run races at some point and will continue to monitor the spread of COVID-19 and the reopening plan for Montana.
In a release on their Facebook page Monday the Gallatin Speedway said:
This is devastating, but the health of our fans, employees, partners, drivers, teams, and community members continues to be our main priority.
