Big City Drivers Struggle With This In Montana
When you drive through Montana you will notice how big the sky feels. We are called the "Big Sky State" after all, and once you enter Montana you will know exactly why.
Another thing you will notice, specifically in Bozeman other than just a big sky, is that it's dark. For a city with a population over 50k, there is one thing that many say Bozeman is lacking. Street lights.
Now people would typically insert the comment, "we like it dark, go back to where you came from", if you bring up the topic. But as I was driving down Huffine the other night, it was like a lightbulb went off in my average size brain. Is THIS the reason why people from big cities struggle to drive in and around Bozeman? Simply because they can't see the road.
I mean think about it, city slickers come from all over the U.S., from cities that are constantly lit up like a Christmas tree and then they come to Bozeman and it's like a dark hole of awesome.
DANGEROUS MONTANA ROAD COMPLAINT
It's not just Huffine that is dark and under lit, as you drive through neighborhoods, new and old, you notice there are hardly any street lights. Is this why people from other states have troubles parking, driving, and really doing anything behind the wheel?
Next time you are driving home at night, take a look around, have you ever realized just how dark your street is?
