[WATCH] Star Trek Releases Bozeman Extraterrestrial Tourism Video

If you're a hardcore Star Trek fan, you're probably familiar with First Contact Day.

In Star Trek lore, April 5, 2063 is the day that humans make first contact with Vulcans, as depicted in the movie Star Trek: First Contact. The Vulcans who greet Zefram Cochrane in Bozeman, Montana, bring with them the promise of a brighter future we see come to pass in the decades and centuries ahead.

According to Startrek.com;

Bozeman, Montana is one of the fastest-growing towns in the United States. Nestled in the natural beauty of Montana’s mountains and filled with young families, starry-eyed college students, and ski bums, it’s a wonderful example of what humanity has to offer. If you want to go and visit this soon-to-be historic location or show around a Vulcan friend or two, here are the most logical locations to try.

The Extraterrestrial Tourism Council wants to invite you to consider the wonders of Bozeman, Montana. In a video released on Monday, April 5 to celebrate First Contact Day, Star Trek highlights the reason why life in Bozeman would be appealing to extraterrestrial life forms.

The video also includes activities that Bozemanites enjoy including hiking, rafting, fishing, skiing, ziplining, and spending a night on the town.

In the video, a night on the town in Bozeman is described as "A controlled fall over the course of an evening of alcohol beverages. The fact that Bozeman has a computer museum is also included in the video.
