It's tourist season in Montana, which means that if you're a resident of Big Sky Country, you can expect your patience to be tested.

I've never been one to complain too much about the tourists, as I see the need and what type of impact they have on the state's economy; however, after traveling to Yellowstone National Park last week with some childhood friends, I might have changed my mind a little.

It was a wonderful trip, and the sights were something to see, but the traffic was crazy, and some of those folks visiting from other states, well, let's just say they could use a lesson in Montana manners.

However, that's not the focus of this article. No, we are talking about Montana and tourism and how, for 3 to 4 months, our beautiful state is overrun by folks from different places...or is it?

I mean, the thought process is that everybody and their brother come to Montana during the summer. They load up in RVs, book up all the hotels, steal all the could camping spots, and walk around our towns stepping out in front of traffic.

However, according to one source, it might not be as bad as we think.

The folks over at Factflash came out with a list of the Top 10 Least Visited States in the USA, and to my surprise, Montana is on the list. Now, before we share all of the details, check out these places just outside of Montana that are fantastic for vacations.
