
Road Work And Road Warriors: A Summer Guide To Living In Bozeman
It's already begun.
I was driving around town the other day, and there were all kinds of road construction going on, which means it's darn near summer in Bozeman. Soon, the city will be invaded by folks driving RVs and hauling campers, as well as traffic mazes that will be surrounded by orange cones and folks working hard in the Montana heat.
The airport will be loaded up with rental cars, and folks will be ready to live out their Montana Adventure Bucketlists.
For those of us who call Bozeman and the surrounding area home, it can be a bit much at times, but let's remember that many of our neighbors and local businesses depend on tourism dollars for their livelihood.
If you're new to the area, there are some things you need to know. First off, welcome. While not everyone is happy that you're here, as a transplant myself (most of the people here are, so don't let them fool you), I welcome you to Big Sky Country.
