With school out and warmer weather, it's time for summer fun and in what has become a tradition, our friends over at Family Promise are kicking off the season with their Family Promise Summer Carnival.

The annual event is Saturday, June 15th from 1 pm until 4 pm.

The Summer Carnival will take place at the Family Promise building parking lot located at 1603 Tschache Lane and will be fun for the whole family. Family Promise helps those struggling with homelessness and offers services to those in need as well as a daycare service.

This year's event will include inflatables, a dunk tank, games, free food, music, and lots of fun. The event is free, but they are looking for donations of the following:

  • Laundry Detergent
  • Dryer Sheets
  • Dish Soap
  • Hand Soap
  • Diapers
  • Baby Wipes
  • Sunscreen
  • Toilet Paper

Derek and Megan from the XL Country Morning Show will be on hand and cooking hamburgers and hotdogs, so bring the whole family, stop by and grab a bite to eat and have some fun.
