The Ultimate Montana Bucket List
Montana is a beautiful state full of beautiful things. What's on your Montana bucket list?
It would take a really long time to see everything Montana has to offer. I'm planning on taking some time this summer to get out and explore all of the beautiful sights in the Treasure State.
Here's a list of places on my Montana bucket list:
- 1
Visit Glacier National Park
This has been on my bucket list for a really long time, and I'll finally get a chance to check it off the list this summer. The late Robin Williams had this to say about Glacier.
"If it isn’t God’s backyard, He certainly lives nearby.”
- 2
Visit the Winifred Museum
The Winifred Museum is located in the small town of Winifred, Montana. The museum has one of the largest collections of Tonka trucks in the entire world. Being a Tonka collector, this is definitely a place that I can't wait to check out.
- 3
Drive the Beartooth Highway
The Beartooth Highway is a 68-mile section of highway in Montana between Red Lodge and the Wyoming state line. It is one of the most beautiful drives in America. The summit of Beartooth Pass is 10,947 feet.
- 4
Huckleberry Festival in Trout Creek
Since the moment I heard about this, I knew I would have to check it out. Montana is known for delicious huckleberries, and Trout Creek has a festival to celebrate that fact. It happens every year in August.

Relax at Chico Hot Springs
This is something that I've already done, so it's not really on my bucket list. Chico is a great place to go if you need to relax. It's one of my favorite places in Montana.
