Snow, Wind and Cold This Weekend

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory beginning tonight at 5 p.m. through Saturday morning. A Winter Storm Watch was also issued for late tonight through Sunday night.

Heavy snow is expected Saturday morning through late Sunday night.  This storm will bring the following:

• Up to 2 inches of snow Friday night
• Slippery road conditions
• Cold temperatures Sunday into Monday
• 4 to 7 inches for valleys predicted total for the weekend
• Up to 20 inches for higher elevations expected total for the weekend
• Reduced visibility
• Gusty winds

Expect bitter cold temperatures on Sunday and into Monday.  Wind chill predicted to be as low as 25 below zero.
