Say A Prayer For Firefighters

Being a firefighter is a tough job. I don't know from experience, and in all honesty, can't say that I'm cut out for it. From running into a burning house to save a family pet to standing at the front line of a blazing wildfire, our firefighters are putting their lives on the line almost every day that they go to work.

As you've probably noticed, there is smoke all around Gallatiin Valley. It's actually covering the majority of the Pacific Northwest. There are many big wildfires burning in Idaho, and quite a few burning in Montana as well. One of our listeners posted a few pictures of the Hamilton fire in Montana on their Facebook page. The power of wildfire has always been very intriguing to me. I have a lot of respect for firefighters, and the work that they do to keep us safe. Changing the direction of a wildfire to prevent it from burning down homes is not an easy task. Here are a few of the pictures.
