Several local media outlets are reporting that MSU quarterback Dakota Prukop has decided to transfer to the University of Oregon. Prukop worked out in Eugene, Oregon, for the Ducks over the weekend. He also had a visit to the University of Alabama, but in the end, decided to go to the Ducks.

Prukop graduated this past weekend, so he will not have to sit out a year of eligibility when he transfers. In his two years as the Bobcat's starting quarterback, Prukop threw for over 7,000 yards and 70 touchdowns.

New Bobcat headcoach Jeff Choate will now begin the search for the next Bobcat QB. The Bobcats have been in the headlines a lot this off-season, having fired Rob Ash, the winningest coach in the school's history, and also signing yesterday the former Montana Grizzly defensive coordinator Ty Gregorak.

Good luck in Oregon, Dakota! Win the Day!
