There's a lot of talk about Montana folks going without food lately.

Between government shutdowns, political parties fighting with each other, and the high cost of groceries, several Montanans will have trouble making ends meet. Of course, Montanans tend to watch out for their own. A true Montanan will always help out their neighbors, and if you're a transplant and want to fit in, you would be smart to learn that lesson sooner, rather than later.

For more than a quarter of a century, Montanans have gathered together in the state's biggest food drive. Of course, we're talking about Can The Griz.

Can The Griz will kick off on November 8th and will run through November 22nd. Can The Griz is one of the largest activities that happens in the area. Businesses, civic groups, churches, schools, families, and individuals come together to do their part to help out their friends, neighbors, and strangers who may be struggling with food insecurity.

Townsquare Media will once again be a big part of Can The Griz. 100.7 XL Country will be broadcasting at the Ferguson Farms Town and Country Foods location on Wednesday, November 12th, from noon until 7 pm.
