Since Montana State has been to the National Championship game 3 times in the last 5 years, I think fans would have a fair say in the question that I'm going to ask.

I've been to several home games at Bobcat Stadium. I'm also a fan of watching them on TV, as I did Monday, January 5th, when they took on Illinois State in Nashville. Nashville isn't the typical venue for the game; however, this year and next, it will be, as the stadium in Frisco undergoes renovations.

Now I've never hung out in Frisco, but I've driven through it multiple times as I have family in Texas.

I have, however, spent time in Nashville. It's a super fun city with all kinds of historic places, great bars, fantastic restaurants, and terrific live music everywhere. I mean, they don't call it Music City for nothing. I've never had a bad time in Nashville, and from the looks of it, the Bobcat fans were having a pretty good time as well.

It should be stated that Frisco is only 30 miles or so from Dallas, so all that stuff about great bars, fantastic restaurants, and terrific live music can be said about the Big D as well.

So, which city is the better place to play, Nashville or Frisco?

If you ask me, I'm going with Nashville. Great stadium that is an actual football stadium. (The stadium in Frisco is a soccer field.) You have all of the fun stuff to do, and there are tons of places to check out. I wasn't there, but from what I saw on Social Media, Nashville looked like more fun than Frisco.

However, Frisco has been hosting for many years now, and some North Dakota State Fans I know say it's a great place to go. However, I don't know how much you can trust a Bison fan, but Frisco is in Texas, and Texas is the Lone Star State, and maybe the greatest state in the country, just ask them.

Oh, here is a plus for both, you fit in wearing boots and a cowboy hat in either city.
