Turning Point USA Tour Stops At MSU: What You Need To Know
Tragedy has shaken Turning Point USA in the most unthinkable way, but they are pushing on. Just weeks after the shocking death of founder Charlie Kirk, the organization is pressing forward with its nationwide college tour and the next stop is right here in Bozeman.
The “This is the Turning Point Tour” lands at Montana State University on October 7 at the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse. The free event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. and is expected to draw a crowd of up to 3,300 people. Taking the stage will be biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, now campaigning for Ohio governor, alongside Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte.
Turning Point USA, founded by Kirk in 2012, has made its mark by championing free speech and sparking heated debates on campuses across the country. With emotions running high in the wake of Kirk’s murder on a Utah campus, this stop promises to be as significant as it is emotional.
MSU is preparing accordingly. Michael Becker, interim vice president of communications, said that security will be tight. No bags will be allowed inside, attendees will pass through metal detectors, and university officials are asking folks to follow standard parking rules. For anyone heading over, surface lots south of the Fieldhouse will be open after 6 p.m.

Regardless of political leanings, it’s clear this event won’t be your average campus lecture. The backdrop is heavy, the security will be noticeable, and the conversations? Probably intense. For those who want to attend, registration is open through Turning Point’s website HERE.
