Perfect Summer Event Returning To Montana For 3 Full Days
Montana summer's include road trips, camping, reaching new limits, and of course, music festivals.
In fact, Butte's famous Montana Folk Festival is scheduled for July 12th, 13th, and 14th in Uptown Butte, and the line up is already very impressive.
Of the more than 20 acts that will make an appearance this summer, here are seven that have just been announced.
- Jerry Douglas Band (Bluegrass, Nashville, TN)
- Los Texmaniacs (Texas Conjunto, San Antonio, TX)
- El Laborintino del Coco (Bomba Fusion, New York, NY)
- Sheryl Cormier (Cajun Accordion, Carencro, LA)
- Le Vent du Nord (Quebecois, Saint-Antoine-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, Canada)
- Fran Grace (Sacred Steel Gospel, Toledo, OH)
- Fred Thomas (R&B/Funk, New York, NY)
If you haven't been to the Montana Folk Festival, don't let this year slip by. There are 6 stages full of talent, musical backgrounds of all sorts, and an array of diverse cultures all for your entertainment.
The festival is free to attend, but in order to keep it continuing into the future, it is asked that you make a donation. Recommended, not required, $25 per person or $35 per family is a respectable donation.
As we inch closer to July, more artists will be announced. The first seven announced are just a glimpse of how great this year's event will be.
