Space is fascinating, isn’t it? There’s so much to learn! So take the kids for MSU’s Astronomy and Aerospace Day at the Museum of the Rockies, Sunday April 9th from 1-4pm.

MSU alumni will speak, including director of Montana Space Grant Consortium Angela Des Jardins, regarding the National Eclipse Ballooning Project, and Jaime Waydo, who formerly worked on NASA’s Curiosity Rover that went to Mars, will discuss working on Waymo’s self-driving car program.

There will also be activities and exhibits from the Extreme Gravity Institute, Helena’s ExplorationWorks and the Montana Department of Aviation, plus planetarium shows throughout the afternoon.

Astronomy and Aerospace Day activities are included with your admission to the museum, and kids aged 17 and under, and students with a valid college ID can enjoy free admission that day.
