Are there certain rules for the flag on Memorial Day?
For those who are curious, if you will be flying the flag for Memorial Day, there is certain etiquette that should be followed.
On Memorial Day, the flag should be flown at half-staff from sunrise until noon to honor fallen service members. At noon, raise the flag to the top of the pole and leave it there until sunset to symbolize patriotism. If the flag is illuminated, you many leave it up 24 hours.
