Montana Makes Another Best Of 2023 List. But Is It Accurate?
The Last Best Place. That's what we call Montana right? Apparently the United States agrees. Aside from the housing crisis, it seems like people still really want to be here.
WalletHub released 2023's Best States To Live In, and per usual, Montana has made the list. Which to be honest, is a bit surprising consider the cost of living, but in all reality it seems as though this isn't just a Montana issue. States all over are experiencing similar struggles.
5 specific things were taken into consideration when coming out with the list. Montana came in 19th out of all the states and here is what was considered.
1. Affordability
2. Economy
3. Education & Health
4. Quality of Life
5. Safety
Aside from many of us not agreeing with people thinking affordability and Bozeman go hand in hand, there are still towns in Montana that make sense when it comes to purchasing a home. Here in Bozeman, you need to have at least half of a million dollars just to step foot into your "new" home. Affordable for who?
Bozeman by itself attracts people from all over the world. Coaches from different countries consider Bozeman the cream of the crop when it comes to the perfect location to coach in. Business owners seeking a slightly diverse culture for their newest storefront, find that Bozeman is a great addition to their cliental as well.
Is it surprising that Montana has made the list once again? If it was based on beauty then no, but to say I'm not surprised at all would be a lie. News such as this will either bring more people to the state or it will make people research the state and realize they need more than a couple hundred bucks to move here and survive.
