Montana Lottery Approves Sports Betting Statewide
The Helena Independent Record is reporting that the Montana Lottery has approved several different ways of sports betting to be offered throughout the state of Montana.
They also announced we could be seeing sports betting terminals as soon as next month being installed.
The report states that betting will be allowed on baseball, basketball, golf, boxing/mixed martial arts, football, ice hockey, soccer and motor sports.
You will be able to do straight up bets(no point wagering), point spread bets, over/under, and many other ways of betting.
They did put a maximum bet on a kiosk at $250 but you will be able to bet up to $1,000 on an app when you are in a licensed location by creating an account that is linked to your bank account.
Credit betting will not be allowed anywhere.
The best part, the maximum payout is $100,000. That's a lot of cash.
Sports betting finally being legalized in Montana will defiitely be a game changer and could boost several businesses in the Gallatin Valley.
