Masks or No Masks? An Honest Question for My Bozeman People!
There is a question I cannot get out of my mind. One that has been treated like a seesaw, up and down, up and down. Yes, we need them, no we don't need them. If you are vaccinated you don't need it, oh wait, yes you do. So I am going to ask Bozeman, do we still need masks?
The CDC recently released a new statement stating that if you ARE vaccinated, you should still wear a mask, especially if in big crowds or group gatherings. Is this because the Vaccine for COVID-19 is not as effective as they were initially thinking? I am honestly asking because I have become slightly clueless and confused as to what is actually going on.
Some states are going as far as requiring their employees to get the vaccine, it has become mandatory. Can your company do this? Does this violate your HIPPA rights? I am honestly asking. Has your job made the vaccine mandatory? How will you feel or react if they do. It is left up to your state officials whether to mandate a vaccine or not. Will Bozeman become one of the cities that requires the vaccine for certain occupations?
I can not possibly be the only person who is confused. I DO understand the vaccine is to help PREVENT some side effects from being as horrible. I DO understand that it is NOT a cure for COVID-19. What I do not understand is the guidelines or suggested uses for masks. Will we soon need the vaccine to travel? HELP Bozeman, I just need some clarity!
So I will ask again, do we need masks if we are vaccinated?
