Montana Retreat: All-Inclusive Resort Makes Top 10 Best In U.S.
For many, traveling to Montana is a dream come true.
One of the great things about Big Sky Country is that no matter your travel budget, you can have a great time here in Montana. For some, that means a blow-up mattress and a two-person tent or maybe you're more of a recreational vehicle type of person.
We have some wonderful lodging options for those who aren't into "roughing it" in the great outdoors. We have motels and hotels in some of the finest resorts in the United States.
Montana is home to one of the best all-inclusive resorts in the country. Country Living looked at the best all-inclusive resorts across the United States and came up with the Top 20 and it just so happens that one Montana resort made the list.
Which Montana resort made the Top 20?
Located just 25 miles east of Missoula is the little town of Greenough, Montana, and there you will find The Green-O Resort.
What makes The Green-O different than many of the resorts in Big Sky Country is the stunning architecture of the buildings. While several Montana resorts have a lodge and cabin feel, The Green-O is much more rustic-modern with buildings made to look like cutting-edge tree houses.
The Green-O is located on the Paws Up Ranch and is an adults-only resort. Some features include ATV rides, cattle drives, and food from a 2024 James Beard Award finalist. Speaking of food, one of the highlights of your stay at The Green-O will be the Chef's Tasting Menu which features 8 plates of culinary delights.
There are 12 different structures to choose from on the property and depending on the property and time of year will determine the price of your stay. As with most all-inclusive resorts, it's not cheap. However, the craftsmanship and features of the buildings are second to none.
