If you're looking for a great place to celebrate National Pancake Day in Montana, there are a few restaurants in Montana that you need to know about.

There's something special and comforting about a stacked of pancakes. Fluffy, golden-brown, and warm, topped with melting butter and a drizzle of maple syrup, or maybe a dollop of fresh Montana huckleberry jam. Whether you like them classic, stuffed with chocolate chips, or topped with fruit and whipped cream, Montana has a few breakfast spots that will make your Pancake Day unforgettable.

When I was trying to figure out the best places for pancakes in Montana, a couple of restaurants instantly came to mind. First, Paul's Pancake Parlor in Missoula.

The restaurant has been a landmark in Missoula since the 60s, and has earned a reputation for serving up some of the best pancakes money can buy. If you haven't been there, check it out the next time you're in the area.

The second place that came to mind in the Running Bear Pancake House in West Yellowstone. It's the most popular breakfast spot in town, so there's always a bit of a wait before you're seated, especially during the summer months. I've eaten there several times, and have never had a bad experience.

Sure, there are other restaurants that serve pancakes in the state, but the two restaurants mentioned about actually have the word "pancake" in their names.
