Being a married man means I sometimes am forced to watch shows I normally wouldn't watch. Such as How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Crazy, Stupid, Love or something on HGTV.

Luckily, my wife and I both enjoy the Food Network and so you can imagine my surprise when I tuned in and saw a Montanan Chef competing.

Now, if you're not familiar with the Food Network they have several different shows, all food centered of course, and one of the most popular shows is a program called "Chopped"

The show is based around three rounds, appetizer, entree, and desert. Each contestants is given baskets of strange ingredients and with those ingredients must make a dish for each round. At the end of each one one of the contestants is cut or chopped from the contest.

Which Montana Chef was on Chopped?

Season 63 Episode 10 features Emma Wood who happens to be a Chef and co-owner of Whistle Pig here in Bozeman. Wood was one of the 4 contestants that were featured on the episode that was "all Korean". Wood, who was born in Korea, was adopted by a white American family and raised on the East Coast.

Wood was daring in some of her selections, yet was able to pull off the dishes in the allotted time, in fact the Bozeman Chef ended up making it to all of the rounds, competing for the 10 thousand dollar prize. Once again if you would like to watch the episode, it's season 63, episode 10.
