New Vintage Shop Opens Inside Old Bozeman Landmark
I am a sucker for a good thrift store. I have never really been into malls or fast fashion. But give me a pile of vintage clothes to dig through and the chance to find something unique, and I am all in. Turns out, I am not the only one. The Bozeman area has built a solid reputation for great thrift and vintage shopping, and now there is a new spot to add to the list.

What makes this one even more interesting is the location. If you have been around Bozeman for a while, you probably remember the old Stockyard Cafe. It sat just north of town in a worn down building and was known for simple, classic breakfasts. The café closed its doors in 2017, and for years the area has felt like a bit of a time capsule.
There has been talk about redeveloping the property, especially with its proximity to Story Mill Park and surrounding growth. Ideas have included a mix of housing and small businesses, all while keeping the history of the land in mind.
In the meantime, something new has moved in. A vintage shop called Stockyard Vintage has officially opened in the old cafe building. It opened back in February this year and has been operating by appointment only through social media.

Now, it is starting to open its doors to the public for select events. One upcoming date is set for April 11, giving people a chance to step inside and see what the space has become. If you are into vintage finds and local history, this might be worth checking out.
