According to Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, public access will be limited at the Highway 89 Fishing Access Site on the Yellowstone River, east of Livingston, while crews replace the boat ramp.

The project is set to begin Monday, April 29, and will last roughly two weeks.

FWP is asking that visitors park in the southern-most parking area and access the river by foot along the east boundary fence.

Boaters who normally take out of the river at the Highway 89 Bridge FAS should take out at Mayor’s Landing FAS in Livingston, which is about six miles upriver.

For more information, please contact FWP’s Region 3 headquarters at 406-994-4042.
