FDA Issues Warning On Popular Cold Medicine Sold In Montana
It's that time of year when we still have the flu going around mixed with a dash of spring allergies. Basically, sneezing, coughing, watery eyes, etc. are no where near an end.
There has been a recent recall that could effect many Montana homes.
Check your medicine cabinets and make sure you do not have this medication on hand. The FDA came out with a warning for immediate release.
Haleon is voluntarily recalling eight lots of Robitussin Honey CF Max Day Adult and Robitussin Honey CF Max Nighttime Adult to the consumer level. The product is being recalled due to microbial contamination.- FDA
This medication is used for numerous things, coughs, hay fever, flu like symptoms, etc.
If you have used this product, and have seen or experienced adverse effects from it, first make sure to contact your local doctor/hospital, then take the time to contact the company.

Immunocompromised individuals who are using or have used this product could potentially see the following effect:
- severe or life-threatening adverse events such as fungemia
- disseminated fungal infection
Non-immunocompromised consumers (most popular consumers) are most likely not to see or experience life threatening infections.
