Covid-19 on the Rise? Vaccines Offered at Bozeman Social Events
With the Delta Variant, Covid-19 cases are on the rise. The last few weeks have seen a large increase Nationally, in Montana, and here in Bozeman.
Of course the game-changer, according to the latest research, is the fact that the Delta Variant is much more contagious and is infecting and being spread by those who've had the vaccine.
Healthcare providers in Gallatin County and here in Bozeman are preparing for a surge, although they do believe it will be smaller than the one we experienced last fall.
So, does any of this change your mind? The vaccine is certainly a point of disagreement among many Bozemanites, with both sides being very passionate about their viewpoint. However, with the new information, does that make a difference?
Do I need to get it, since I've already had Covid-19? Which vaccine should I get? What about side effects? All great questions and I think they need to be asked. I would suggest when you ask them, you ask a healthcare provider.
If you haven't gotten the vaccine and are thinking about it, it can be pretty convenient with vaccines being offered at some of the bigger social gatherings here in Bozeman and the surrounding areas.
According to Healthy Gallatin, you can receive either the Johnson and Johnson or the Pfizer vaccine at the following locations:
- Belgrade Farmers Market on August 5th, from 3 pm to 5:30 pm.
- Music on Main on August 5th, from 6 pm to 8 pm.
- Music in the Mountains on August 5th, from 6 pm to 8 pm.
- The Bozeman Stampede on August 5th, 6th, and 7th, from 5:30 pm to 9 pm.
- SLAM on August 7th, from 10:30 am to 7 pm.
Once again, if you have any questions regarding the vaccine, please contact your healthcare provider.
