Bozeman Coat Drives Help Keep Locals Warm This Winter
As the temperatures start to dip around the Gallatin Valley, we will soon see the cold and snow. While that's just part of living in Montana, for some folks, they don't have the winter gear or the means to buy it.
While the winter months can vary in severity, one thing is for sure: if you're going to call Montana home, you need to be prepared, and part of that preparation is having the clothing you need to make it through.

For some Montanans, that's easier said than done.
Listen, living here isn't cheap, and many locals struggle to make ends meet. With the high cost of living, paying things like rent and utilities often take precedence over things like snow boots, gloves, and coats. Luckily, there are those locals who are willing to help.
In fact, there are a couple of different winter coat drives that are taking place for folks who might next a helping hand this winter.
Where are the Bozeman Winter Coat drives happening?
A winter clothing drive is taking place now through October 21st at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The clothing drive will benefit the Bozeman Community, and those in charge of the drive are looking for items such as coats, boots, gloves, etc. While all sizes are welcome, adult sizes are desperately needed.
A second winter clothing drive involving the Bozeman School District and the Bozeman School Foundation will run through November 1st. With several different drop-off locations, they are looking for lightly used winter clothing for the school-aged children in our area.

What a wonderful way to get ready to ring in the Holiday Season! One of the great things about living in Bozeman is the generosity of those who call this special place home.
