16 Of The Most Popular Items Stolen From Montana Walmart

Walmart, known for it's throw back pricing and more recently, the king/queen of self checkout. Honestly, I don't mind it one bit. Some people have a real issue with it, but in all reality if it keeps prices lower, I'm totally down for scanning my own items.

One problem people tend to wonder is if there is more theft going on, now that there isn't another person actually scanning your purchases. It's kind of an honor system process in a way.

When it does come to shoplifting, Walmart, like most other department stores have some similar items being taken. Most items that thieves tend to take are typically small enough to fit in a pocket, a purse, or "worn" without notice.

I will say that one of the main differences I noticed with Walmart thefts vs. Target thefts, is that the Walmart list seems to have more "necessity" items on it, whereas the top stolen items from Target are more materialistic.

There are some really great programs throughout Montana that are willing to help out with items that are considered a necessity, food, water, formula, etc. Stealing is not ok. If you are needing help with food or formula, please consider reaching out to any of our local public service agencies.
