The Montana State Bobcat defense had another great showing on Saturday, shutting out the Western Oregon Wolves 55-0. The win puts the Bobcats at 2-1 on the season going into their first Big Sky Conference game next week at home against North Dakota.

This was the first Bobcat shutout since 2013 when the Bobcats beat Colorado - Mesa 26-0.

Tyler Bruggman led the Bobcats on offense with 3 TD passes and also rushing for 211 yards. The Bobcats forced 5 turnovers on the Wolves, while having their second game in a row with no turnovers themselves.

Next week the Bobcats host North Dakota for Homecoming. Kickoff is set for 2pm.
