Help XL Country Can the Griz

Join XL Country Friday at the annual 12-hour Can the Griz Food Drive hosted by Town & Country Foods on 19th Ave. Dave & Ally from the XL Morning Show will be broadcasting live for 12 hours. You can help out by stopping by Town and Country on 19th and donating or donating online here. More details here.

Also, you can donate to Can the Griz all weekend long! Look for and drop off non-perishable food items at collection bins at most supermarkets throughout the Gallatin Valley. Here's a complete list of collection locations.

Frozen 5K

The Bozeman Figure Skating Club is hosting a fundraiser and first ever 5K event on Saturday at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds. Each skater will complete 35 laps around the perimeter of the rink to complete the 5K. The event offers three separate time periods for skaters to participate: Beginner (8:30-9:25), Intermediate(9:30-10:15), or advanced (10:30-11:15) level. Register and more details here.

Pumpkin Drop

Not sure what to do with your decaying pumpkins? Take them to the Pumpkin Drop on Saturday.  Happy Trash Can Curbside Composting will compost the pumpkins and make sure they go back into the local food cycle. This is completely Free and you can drop off your pumpkins at the Gallatin Valley Fairgrounds from 9 to noon on Saturday, just look for the designated bins at the entrance of the Farmers Market.

Bozeman Winter Farmers Market

Shop local food and farmer vendors offering local veggies, meats, cheese, bread, preserves, honey, soaps, and more. Each market offers twenty vendors selling their goods. The Bozeman Winter Farmers' Market is on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds Exhibit Building #1. More details here.
