Yellowstone National Park continues to set records in attendance. This past July, the Park played host to 962,404 visitors, which is the third busiest July on record. Last year, Yellowstone Park set a record for the busiest July on record with 995,917 visitors.

Overall this year, attendance is slightly down (4.59 percent), but remember last year was a record setting year for people coming to the Park. Over the past five years, Yellowstone has been experiencing record attendance. Year-to-date visitation in 2017 is 20 percent higher than five years ago in 2012.
