I have always worked more than one job. Partly because I wanted the extra money to party, buy whatever thing I thought I needed, and go on random road trips whenever I wanted. For the first time in my life, I have ONE job. I have some free time and it is very strange.

As I moved to Bozeman, I was starting to wonder if I was going to be able to afford it, as we all know, its expensive. Here is what I have noticed: Rent is high, wages are higher, and out door activity is amazing. So how do we afford to live here? It seems like a lot of people I have talked to (27+ years of age), and they have almost all said they had to get an extra job, on top of their Full-time job. I have been here, I understand that struggle, especially if you are a parent. You can not stop your kids from getting the things they need (shoes, clothes, meds), whatever it may be. So we have to work two jobs to get by. To provide. Only to be away from your family, missing school activities, or memory making trips, because you work two jobs.

Will it ever stop? Will you catch a break and ever feel caught up? The overwhelming mental feeling of financial stress can take a toll on a person's mental health. It may seem like the answer is "no", but there will be a day when you feel like you can sit back and take a breath. I have faith in this. It took me 22 years to not have to work two (or more) jobs, but that may change. Right after I breath in...and out.
