The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for upper elevations  in South West Montana. The advisory is in effect for Madison and Gallatin Counties above 8,000 feet from 6 a.m. Friday until 6 a.m. on Saturday.  With this advisory we can expect:

  • 2 to 6 inches of snow accumulation
  • Up to 9 inches of snow predicted at highest peaks
  • Wet conditions in the backcountry
  • Cities of Bozeman, Ennis & West Yellowstone are not included but are predicted to receive  rain
