An early morning rollover accident on Trail Creek Road Sunday resulted in a passenger being life-flighted to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.

According to the Gallatin Co Sheriff's Office, A northbound vehicle traveling at high speed left the road and rolled down a steep embankment to land upside down, partially submerged in Meadow Creek. Two occupants self extricated with minor injuries but one was trapped in the car. Fort Ellis firefighters deployed battery operated jaws-of-life tools to gain access to the vehicle and after extricating the patient, used low angle rescue rope techniques to haul the patient to the roadway.

In this case, the patient may not have been wearing a seat belt which contributed to injuries.
